How to Play Crazy Time — Rules and Payouts

Crazy Time is simpler than it looks: a live game show by Evolution Gaming with a 54-segment wheel, 8 betting options and rounds every 45–60 seconds. No prior experience or complex strategies needed — in 5 minutes you'll understand all the rules. If you'd rather practise for free before betting, you can watch the stream as a spectator. Crazy Time in 5 Points — Quick Summary

Crazy Time is a live game show with a giant 54-segment wheel and a real host spinning it 24/7 from the studios in Riga. You have 8 betting options: numbers 1, 2, 5 and 10 (fixed payout multiplied by that number) and 4 interactive bonus rounds — Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time Bonus (variable payout depending on the mini-game). The minimum bet is ₹10 per segment. The maximum multiplier is 25,000×. The average RTP is 96.08% — better than most slots. Rounds last 45–60 seconds. That's everything you need to get started — now let's break it down.

The 54-Segment Wheel — What's on It and How Much It Pays

The Crazy Time wheel has 54 segments split between numbers and bonuses. Each type has its own frequency and its own payout structure:

OptionSegments% of WheelPayoutType
Number 12138.89%1:1 (stake × 1)Fixed
Number 21324.07%2:1 (stake × 2)Fixed
Number 5712.96%5:1 (stake × 5)Fixed
Number 1047.41%10:1 (stake × 10)Fixed

Cash Hunt23.70%Variable (mini-game)Bonus
Pachinko23.70%Variable (mini-game)Bonus
Crazy Time11.85%Variable (mini-game)Bonus

The numbers are straightforward: if you bet ₹100 on number 5 and the wheel lands on 5, you win ₹500 (your stake × 5). If you bet ₹200 on number 10 and it hits, you collect ₹2,000. Bonuses work differently: if the wheel lands on a bonus you bet on, you enter a mini-game with its own multiplier that can range from 2× to thousands of times your stake. Numbers come up often but pay modestly. Bonuses are rare but can pay hundreds or thousands of times your bet. You can place bets on multiple options at once — you don't have to pick just one per round.

How to Bet — The Interface and the 15 Seconds

Crazy Time betting interface — 8 options and 15-second timer

The interface displays the 8 betting options as buttons: numbers 1, 2, 5, 10 and the 4 bonuses. Click (desktop) or tap (mobile) to select where you want to bet and choose your chip size. You can bet on one, two or all eight options simultaneously. The minimum bet is ₹10 per option; the maximum varies by casino but typically falls between ₹5,000 and ₹1,00,000. The interface is fully touch-optimised — if you're playing on mobile, the experience is identical to desktop.

You have exactly 15 seconds to place your bets in each round. A visible timer counts down on screen. When it hits zero, betting closes automatically and the host spins the wheel. If you didn't bet in time, you simply watch that round without participating — you lose nothing except the opportunity to be in on that spin.

Key rule for bonuses: if you want to participate in a bonus round, you MUST bet on that bonus BEFORE the spin. If the wheel lands on Pachinko and you didn't bet on Pachinko, you watch the mini-game but win nothing. This is the rule beginners forget most often — and the most expensive lesson to learn the hard way. If you want to cover all bonuses, bet ₹10 on each one: ₹40 per round gives you access to all 4 bonus rooms.

The Top Slot and the 4 Bonuses — What You Need to Know

Crazy Time Top Slot and bonuses

Above the main wheel, two reels spin before every round: the Top Slot. If the left reel shows the same segment where the wheel lands AND the right reel displays a multiplier (2×, 5×, 10×, 25× or 50×), that extra is applied to your prize automatically. You don't have to do anything — the Top Slot match runs on an independent RNG and is the mechanism that makes the game show's biggest prizes possible.

Coin Flip: a giant coin with a red side and a blue side, each carrying an assigned multiplier. It flips automatically — no player decision needed. The most frequent bonus (7.41% of the wheel) and the simplest to understand. Maximum: 5,000×.

Cash Hunt: a screen with 108 multipliers hidden behind symbols on a 12×9 grid. You aim your crosshair and shoot at your chosen target. The only bonus where YOU actively decide what happens. Each player aims at a different target and results are individual. Maximum: 25,000× — the highest in the game.

Pachinko: a glowing puck drops down a vertical wall of pegs and lands in one of 16 prize zones (2×–200×). If it lands on "DOUBLE", all multipliers on the board are doubled and the puck is relaunched — with no cap on repetitions. Maximum: 10,000×.

Crazy Time Bonus: the rarest of all (just 1 of 54 segments). A red door swings open and you enter a fully 3D virtual world with a 64-segment wheel. You choose 1 of 3 coloured flappers. The wheel contains DOUBLE and TRIPLE segments that build multiplication chains. Maximum: 20,000×. For the complete guide to all 4 bonuses, see the comparison page.
